Among the Thorns by Veronica Schanoes a novelette using fairy tale tropes her dark fantasy historical explorations (as did Burning Girls, her Nebula nominee from 2013. April 30
The Walking-stick Forest by Anna Tambour, a nasty, but ultimately uplifting dark fantasy story May 21
The Insects of Love by Genevieve Valentine is a weird turn that’s very different from the author’s western/steampunk Terrain from 2013. May 28
Chapter Six by Stephen Graham Jones is a zombie story (oh yes, it is) June 11
The Color of Paradox by A.M. Dellamonica a science fiction/time travel story June 25
Sleep Walking Now and Then by Richard Bowes is a futuristic novelette about theater July 9
La Signora by Bruce McAllister is a dark fantasy taking place in Italy-in the same world as the author’s 2013 novel The Village Sang to the Sea: A Memoir of Magic June 16
